Baptism is for the remission of sins & required to enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Christ was sinless and had no need to be baptized for the remission of sins. Yet, he was. Why?

To show us the way.

Christ was the ultimate example & wanted to give all of us a clear vision of what steps to take in this life. He could’ve just told us. He could have said, “I don’t need to, but you need to” and been right. But he wanted to lead by example.

Let us do the same as new dads. Let our actions be the master teacher over any lecture we can give.
