Some days being a dad is going to feel impossible. You’re going to have a deadline at work, be running on fumes from a near no sleep night, and have kids yelling that they don’t want to change their diaper. It’s going to feel impossible.

Well, so is feeding 5,000 people at once. Think about the planning we’d make if we were hosting some event with 5,000 guests. Think of that catering order. It would likely cost close to $60,000! Difficult to do today—nearly impossible then.

And yet with just five loaves of bread and two fishes, Christ is able to feed the masses.

And here’s the truth about Christ. No matter what you bring to the table, as long as you’re truly trying, Christ will take your measly effort and make it “enough”.

If you’re running on fumes and can only give a “one loaf” effort, and that’s your best, Christ will and can make it enough. It’s called grace. And His grace is sufficient for us.
